I have decided to create a blog in order to report on the activities of the BAGE One-Name Study. All information is recorded on my dedicated website at www.bage.org.uk but this will serve as a blow by blow account of the goings on in my research.

I am carrying out a study of the surname BAGE. I first began researching my family tree in the early 1990's and was soon able to get my line back to the eartly 1700's where I hit a brick wall. To help me I decided to start collecting all refernces to the name BAGE and the BAGE one-name study was born. I am interested in all occurances of the surname globally and would love to hear from anyone else with links to the name. My aim is to be a resource for others investigating their own lines. I am a member of the Guild of One-Name Studies where I have registered BAGE as my study and am currently a committee member & Editor of the Guilds Journal.
